Chocolate Raspberry French Toast


I modified the french toast recipe to include chocolate.  Yum, Yum, Yum.

Produce:  1 cup raspberries, frozen and thawed

Whole Grain:  1 slice of Ezekial bread

Lean Protein:  1/2 egg

Plant based fat:  1/4 cup of 70% chocolate chunk chips from Whole Foods

SASS:  vanilla extract, cinnamon, pinch of nutmeg

Mix egg with the SASS and soak bread.  Spray a pan with nonstick cooking spray.  Cook on the stove until golden brown.  Flip and pour some of the chocolate chunks on the cooked side.  Once melted spread it on the top of the french toast.  Once cooked, add the raspberries, the remaining chocolate and some more cinnamon.  There is a lot of chocolate so I added some to my cappuccino.

I had this 2 mornings in a row and used strawberries the second time.  Again, is this really a diet?
