This was so good I had to post right away. I took the Chocolate Pear Ginger Smoothie on P. 97 and subbed the banana for the pear and vanilla extract for the ginger. SO GOOD. It’s like a dessert. You cannot even taste the whole oats.
My non dieting husband got whipped cream on his smoothie. He loved it too.
- 1 small frozen banana
- 1/4 cup whole oats
- 8 ounces skim milk
- 1/4 cup ghiradelli semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
Put it in a blender with some ice if you’d like it thicker.
